Meet the parents - Keona and Boo

I.V.'s Iye Yahto (Blue Smoke)also known as Boo, and I.V's Keona Nalani (God's Gracious Gift/Calmness of the Heavens), also known as Keona, had their litter in mid-May 2015.

Boo was a very sweet and attentive puppy, with a calm demeanor.  He is a silly boy at times and has learned to do a backwards twist when Carla tells him to move back - he jumps in the air, twists, and jumps back, all at the same time.   He is a very affectionate dog and loves to be the center of attention.  Boo is about 23 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 75 lbs, with a woolly coat.  When Boo was a puppy his coloring was unique, a very dark blue, grey-black smoky color.  This is why Carla gave him the name Iye Yahto; his coloring reminded her of dark smoke you see with from a fire.  He has a zest and excitement for life and is a happy dog.  He has an easy going personality and is calm in the house.

Keona likes to stay close to Carla, preferably in the house.  Carla knows she wants to play when she puts her hind quarters in the air and shuffles her front paws, followed by a very attentive look and a bark that lets Carla know she's just waiting for the fun to begin.  She enjoys lots of petting, love and belly rubs.  Keona will sit for hours if someone is petting her. She also loves to be brushed.  She is a very affectionate dog and desires nothing more than being with Carla, but not to the point of having separation anxiety.  Keona is a sensitive dog and it takes very little to keep her obedient...just a look will do it..  She is slightly standoffish at first meeting but it doesn't take her long to relax and enjoy the company.  She has an easy going personality and is calm in the house.
